To be an accredited employer's organization under the Labour Relations Act.

Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada, commonly known by its acronym, MCAC, is a national, non-profit business association serving the needs of contractors of all sizes (both union and non-union) engaged in such disciplines as plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, controls, etc. (Division 15 of the National Master Specification) primarily in the industrial, commercial and institutional sectors.

The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada or "UA" as it is commonly known is a multi-craft union whose members are engaged in the fabrication, installation and servicing of piping systems. The union in the Greater Toronto Area is Local 46.

Ontario Construction Secretariat

Combine all the resources of the organized Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional sector of the construction industry with the objective of gathering and distributing independently verifiable data demonstrating the economic contribution, capabilities and performance of this sector. Construction Education Council

CEC Mission Statement: “To provide guidance and support to MCA Canada’s education and training programs.  To assist in the research, development, promotion, and growth of MCA Canada’s education and training programs.”

The Construction Education Council is widely known as the education arm of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada.    CEC offers training programs to enhance career and skill development designed specifically for the construction industry. We take great pride in being the only National Trade Association to have this service available to its entire membership. The Ontario Plumbing Inspectors Association Inc. (OPIA)

OPIA is a non profit organization dedicated to protecting the health and well being of the Province of Ontario through safe plumbing. Founded in 1920, our primary purpose is to promote the improvement of plumbing standards to insure protection of the environment, promote the advancement of knowledge concerning the safe installation of plumbing and to insure safe and adequate potable water systems in the Province of Ontario. We presently have over 800 members made up of Plumbing and Building Inspectors, Plumbing and Building Contractors, plumbers and apprentices, Engineers, Engineering technicians, Drain Contractors, manufacturers and others interested in the promotion of safe plumbing practices.
